This year we had a quiet Christmas! It wasn't our year to have Carter. I told Andy this was the first year I haven't been around any kids for Christmas, it was so weird! That's the best part of Christmas, seeing the little kiddos light up opening presents!
So we celebrated Christmas a different way....We drove to Reno and stayed with Andy's Dad and step-mom. They are so great! We relaxed, ate, played, relaxed and ate some more! It was really a great time!
We didn't take a whole lot of pictures, I need to get better at that! While we were there we drove to Tahoe and went ice skating! I'm not great at it but sure had a lot of fun! There was NO SNOW in Tahoe! It was so weird! Here we are skating. Nice pose, huh?! :)
I grew up with having a cabin in Tahoe! So many memories! We stopped and took a picture by Donner Lake, where my family's cabin used to be by! It's so beautiful up there!
Tonight we get Carter back and get to have Christmas again with him! We're excited to see him open his presents! Hope you all had a great Christmas! I can't believe how fast this year went by!
